What was ANZAC cove previously called?

During our discussions about the origins of ANZAC day, some wonderful questions were asked by you all! Harriet asked what ANZAC cove, in Gallipolli, was called before April 25, 1915. This was an easy one to find on google. ANZAC Cove was previously known as Ari Birun. It was renamed shortly after the Gallipoli landings.

Thanks for the information about what ANZAC Cove used to be called. Good job for asking questions about ANZAC Day and finding out information.
I like your class pet Poppy. Seamus in our class has just got a Boxer called Poppy and Josh had a kitten called Poppy as well.
    Have a great day.
